Why I'm Running
I’m running to bring thoughtful, community-centered leadership to Rio schools and help ensure students and families feel supported, heard, and represented.

I’m running to bring thoughtful, community-centered leadership to Rio schools and help ensure students and families feel supported, heard, and represented.

I’m focused on practical, thoughtful leadership that supports students, strengthens schools, and builds trust with families and our community.
I’m a Ventura County native, educator, public servant, community leader, and mom who has spent years supporting young people, families, schools, and community organizations. My career has included federal public service, financial management, human resources, training, and leadership development — experiences that taught me the importance of accountability, collaboration, and serving people well
Education has always been deeply important to me. From studying child development and preparing for a career in teaching to working directly with students as a substitute teacher, coach, facilitator, and community advocate, I’ve seen how much students benefit when schools, families, and communities work together.
I’m running to bring my experience, perspective, and commitment to the Rio School District Board — listening to our community, supporting our educators and families, and keeping students at the center of every decision.
Supporting Students. Strengthening Schools.
